Salman Khan has recommended good friend Mahek Chahal yet again. The actress now finds herself in Shyam Bajaj’s Jai Veeru, directed by Puneet Sira thanks to her bonding with Sallu. In the film, Mahek dances to the item song, Aagre ke ghaghre.
As reported ‘Salman’s new object of affection’ (Hitlist, October 25), the actor has been taking a keen interest in shaping Mahek’s career.
Says a source, “Salman has always recommended his girlfriends or the women in his life to filmmakers. After giving Mahek an item song in Boney Kapoor’s Wanted Dead Or Alive, Sallu created a role for her in brother Sohail’s home production, Main Aur Mrs Khanna.”
