Only the name Nehru has changed to Gandhi in these fifty odd years, everything else has stayed exactly the same. Shyama Prosad Mukherjee had seen the grim fate of the Hindu majority under Nehru, and he had spoken out against it. Did he die for it? Did he die in vain? It is time for us to get off our lazy bengali backsides and start asking questions.

In a shocking incident, Chattisgarh priest committed suicide with the promise that he would come back in two days.
Manoj Baghel, a Hindu priest in Raipur, Chhattisgarh had poisoned himself on 22nd December, 2007 in a temple. He was then taken to the hospital immediately but died.
Manoj Baghel’s body was required for an autopsy but looking at the crowd which has gathered to wait for priest’s return within two days, police have decided to wait for two days and to see what happens.

Political circles in Gujarat are in celebratory spirits after Modi’s victory. However, the BJP strongman’s return to power has some students of Baroda's prestigious MS University worried.
In May, a student Chandra Mohan was arrested after an internal exhibition of his paintings, soon after the Sangh parivar had alleged Hindu deities were portrayed offensively. The university also suspended Fine Arts Dean, Shivaji Panikkar, for refusing to close Chandra Mohan's exhibition.
Strongly protesting the use of Hindu deity's image allegedly by an American website to market its products, the Orissa government on Monday said it would take up the matter with the US embassy.
"We will certainly protest this and also ask the Centre to initiate appropriate action in this matter," Orissa's Law Minister B B Harichandan said.
