If you are in the mood for shopping, games, some light reading and good food, then you wil enjoy City Center located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

We wanted to buy computer accessories, groceries, books and some clothes for kids. So my spouse went to big bazar and my kids headed down to Crosswords bookstore for browsing some books.

After the bookstore, we zipped into Hush Puppies for checking out the latest shoes in the market.

Then we went up to buy computer accessories at Ezone. This place is not very price competitive. So do your homework befory you decide to buy from Ezone.

We were hungry, so we headed towards Sahib, Sind Sultan restaurant, however they had a wait for 45 minutes. Kids were getting impatient; we turned arround and walked towards the elavator and found Indie Joe. We decided to give it a try since we were seated almost immediately. 

We ordered from the Tex-Mex menu; first we ordered the appetizer, it was something chicken which the waiter recommended.

The appetizer came with some onion rings, french fries and chicken finger marinated in a tangy mexican flavoured sauce. I found the taste to be very bland, not something to write home about.

Kids ordered the kids meal, which had pizza.

And we ordered another chicken dish. The chicken fillet was quite large and was covered with cheese based sauce.

Again the food lacked any character; it tasted like franchise food. However, the service was good and the waiter was very helpful.

Please note that they charge you a 10% service charge, hence no tip would be recommended unless you had extraordinary food and service.

All in all, City Center mall provides the family with lot of choices in shopping, entertainment and food.

A must visit for all visiting Hyderabad.
