Deepika Padukone Selling Goods for Chinese Home Shopping Network ? Yes Yes you got it right. Its another promo for her upcoming movie Chandni Chowk to China. In this movie Deepika is going to be seen in a double role once again. While one of her characters is called Sakhi, the other is known as Miss TSM (Tele Shoppers Media) in the movie. Deepika is seen wearing a decorated hearing aid. Producer Rohan Sippy says, “Deepika’s character of Miss TSM in the movie is seen as using and promoting various funky gadgets. The Ear gadget is a Multi Language Translator (MLT). Whenever anyone speaks in Chinese or for that matter any language, the device automatically translates it in your preferred language”. In the last photo Deepika is with the a scientist of Tele Shoppers Media. He is the "brain" behind the most of these ‘James Bond’ kind of funky gadgets which Deepika’s character uses and promotes in the movie.

Shahrukh Khan joining politics with Congress ?

Guess what I read during my usual surfing rounds ? Apparently Mumbai Regional Congress Committee president Kripashankar Singh at a press conference made certain remarks (he claims were misconstrued by the media) that the Congress is open for Shah Rukh Khan to join the politcal arena, if he so desires. SRK and in politics ?

But the rumours have all been quelled Rajya Sabha member Rajiv Shukla who said that the actor has no intention to stand for elections.

"All these are rumours. Such reports are baseless. It is true that Shah Rukh is close to Congress and the Gandhi family but that does not mean that he would enter politics," Shukla told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

"He will focus on films and no one from Congress has approached him for the elections," Shukla said, adding that Shah Rukh has not evinced any interest in the Congress ticket.
