New Cure for Diabetes

Last week, 40-year-old Rajesh Laddha became the first person to undergo gastric bypass surgery (GBS), meant to reduce weight, hoping it will cure his Type II diabetes, in a Mumbai hospital. GBS is actually advised for obese patients but bariatric surgeons are now recommending it to diabetics after observing a significant reduction in diabetes in patients.
